Saúde! You’re invited to Bar Cana - a retro-modern ode to Brazilian cuisine, style, music, and drinks. Inspired by unforgettable nights in Rio, we’re bringing Carioca culture to DC with caipirinhas, vinyl grooves, and vibrant energy in Adams Morgan

Given the intimate size of our space, we accept a limited number of reservations each evening. Reservations open biweekly at 10 a.m. on the second Monday of each month, covering both table and kitchen counter seating. For example, reservations for the first two weeks of November will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 4th. We also welcome walk-ins for bar seating and outdoor tables on a first-come, first-served basis. If we reach capacity at the bar and front patio, we’ll begin a waitlist to ensure everyone has an equal chance to join us.

Please note that we are a bar-centric restaurant where music plays a vital role in shaping our vibrant ambiance. You can expect a livelier atmosphere than at a traditional restaurant, especially after 10 PM when the volume increases. Additionally, to set expectations for your dinner, there will be guests standing around the bar towards the end of the night, contributing to the lively crowd around you. We encourage you to keep this in mind when making your reservation, as our goal is for everyone to fully enjoy their dining experience with us.

Kitchen Counter – This seating offers a front-row view of our open kitchen, much like sitting at the bar watching the bartenders at work, here, you'll be seated directly in front of our incredible kitchen team as they prepare your meal. Please note, due to the proximity to the kitchen and charcoal oven, the temperature is warmer than in other seating areas.
